Mission
Friends of Caesar Creek is a 501c(3) non-profit independent organization dedicated to preserving our natural resources through educational and historical programs and activities. Our programs are designed for individuals and their families with specific relationship to the Caesar Creek region.
Company Overview
~OBJECTIVES~
EDUCATIONAL/HISTORICAL: Offer a variety of environmental programs. lectures and presentations on topics related to the Caesar Creek region.

FOSSILS: Foster efforts to promote interests in the paleontology and geology of our unique region. 

BOOKSTORE: Offer field guides, local history books, environmental educational information and products geared towards environmental awareness. Our bookstore is located in the Caesar Creek Visitor Center.

AVIAN CONSERVATION: Offering bird identification walks, bird banding, nest box monitoring and raptor programs. 

JUNIOR RANGER: Assisting rangers in coordination of summer environmental children's programs.

FUND RAISING: Securing funds for the cost of programs and to help the park with special purchases beyond their allowed annual budget.

~ACCOMPLISHMENTS~
PROGRAMS: Free and fee programs educational programs including fossil hunting, bird count, bird watching, butterfly count and many more.

JUNIOR RANGER BOOKLET: Creation and printing of the booklet which has become a fun learning tool for children ages 6 through 12.

TOPOGRAPHICAL TRAIL MAP: Creation and printing of a comprehensive trail map for Caesar Creek Park.

PLAYGROUND: Securing and matching a grant from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers to build a playground located at the Visitor Center. 

FUND RAISING ACTIVITIES: Include the regional interest book cart, local festivals and the Combined Federal Campaign. Our CFC number is 27825.
